My Story

Welcome to Alletse’s Art! (Yes, that’s my name, Estella, spelled backward!) I’m a God-loving Christian, a future nurse, and a self-taught artist who has been creating for as long as I can remember.

My journey began with a congenital birth defect called Spina Bifida, leading to three major spinal surgeries and countless trips to the emergency room. Growing up with this condition was challenging, but art became a unique form of medicine for me. Those experiences, difficult as they were, shaped who I am today, and I am deeply grateful for them.

Now, I’ve been blessed to connect with hospitals, charities, and nonprofits, using my art to raise money and make a difference.

Through my art, informed by my personal hospital experiences, I strive to help those who are in a place I once was.

Today, I lead a healthy and healed life, thanks to the skilled hands of my doctors, the unwavering love of my family, and God’s abundant grace.

My calling is to create art with purpose—to bring amazing authors’ stories of victory to life, to communicate their messages in a captivating way, and to inspire hope and creativity in little ones, especially those who, like me, need it most.

“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today” - Genesis 50:20
